Goodnight (and Good Luck)

The night is so dark except for when the moon is full. On a cloudless night, you can see without your cell’s light. You wish you had more time to spend in the glow. If it’s summer, the beeping glow and hum of the lightning bugs make you want to unplug for good this time. When you read the news, it pushes you back outside instead of sleeping, to sit under the light, to walk through the forest, and hope for peace.
