Winter Creek

When I painted this, I was young and living in the southwest. It depicts a place my father visited. I believe it had meaning to him, where he grew up, but we can find meaning even in a new place. I find it is proof of a tree’s beauty even during winter. Proof that you need to get on that path and follow it even into the cold.
