Water Lily On Blue

The excitement of floating next to a patch of water lilies in a kayak was something I wanted to remember. It’s peaceful, yet there’s motion. The flowers are white, yet colorful. I agree with Monet, water lilies are worthy of much exploration.

This painting was included in the “ArtWork6” exhibition at the Sullivan Galleries, Chicago, IL, January 19-February 1, 2013.

This show aimed to showcase the talent and promote the creativity of all Art Institute of Chicago school and museum staff and faculty, ultimately featuring one work each from 160 individuals.
